New Life Worthing

Welcome to New Life Church in  Worthing

Dear Friends,

I am sure that, like me, you have been watching out for and listening to all the news reports about the Coronavirus.  So in following the latest Government advice, and the advice from the Baptist Union, we have taken the decision to cancel and close all our meetings with immediate effect.

While our building maybe shut, we are not closed at all.  Sundays we are streaming our Service live on Facebook and we have set up a YouTube channel where we are posting lots of videos for our youth and children, as well as a recording of our Sunday Service.

Following on from our teaching themes on Sundays, we are posting a daily reflection on Facebook, which we can also emailed to you.  We have started a daily 9am shared prayer time on WhatsApp, and we will be hosting a number of coffee mornings on line.

Please can I encourage you, if you are able, to sign up to Facebook and follow our New Life Church Facebook page, as we will be posting as much as we can on line for a few months.

On a practical level, if you need any help, or care, or shopping, please contact the Church Office (, as we have a number of people who are willing to do shopping for folk within the church.

Also if you would like a pastoral ‘visit’, by phone or video, again please let the Church Office know.  We want to make sure that we are all safe and cared for during this season that is affecting us all.

At this time, and in all things, our prayer is that you will know the peace and love of God all the time.

Love in Jesus

We want to see God touch Worthing:

Through meeting together to pray for our town or being the hands and feet of Jesus in our jobs and schools.
We want to see Worthing come face to face with our God!

We want to work as one:
Here at Newlife, we feel called to serve and empower the churches in Worthing to be united in all we do for the Kingdom.
Keeping a bigger mindset than just our congregation, helps us support and encourage ALL that God is doing.

We want to be a safe place for our community:
We want to be a practical help for those in need in Durrington, providing support, prayer, healing, food, clothes, advice,
a listening ear and above all, God, to those on our doorstep
